Financing

You mandate us to structure financing depending on the occasion, i.e. in the case of acquisition financing needs, to identify alternative sources of financing and to implement them through equity, mezzanine and/or debt capital (including subsidies from the state and relevant federal states). A typical starting situation is that companies today are looking for additional capital, both for financing current assets and for investments in fixed assets. The problem associated with this is that the absolute number of banks is gradually decreasing and lending is becoming more and more restricted due to the increasing capital requirements. The situation in the SME sector is further aggravated by the rising refinancing costs due to increased capital requirements of the lending banks depending on the object of the financing and the rating, as well as the decreasing number of banks that are still active in the SME sector.

We look for solutions: for example, we analyse the capital requirements, model and structure the transaction in order to select and approach financing partners in a targeted manner. We know domestic and foreign banks that want to build up a portfolio of SME loans, and we try out alternative sources such as financial investors, debt funds, private banks and family offices. In addition, we assess the inclusion of collateral in the structuring of loan exposures in the interest of our client. We have an extensive track record with regard to different financing solutions, as acquisition and/or mezzanine financing, as silent participations or as venture capital.
